Makanan Yang Rendah Purin Untuk Para Pengidap Asam Urat

“Asam urat terbentuk dari pemecahan zat kimia yang bernama purin. Oleh karena itu, diet rendah purin bisa menjadi pilihan bagi pengidap asam urat.”

Asam urat merupakan penyakit yang dapat menyebabkan nyeri dan pembengkakan pada persendian. Penyakit ini terjadi saat tubuh memecah zat kimia yang bernama purin. Senyawa purin pun banyak terkandung dalam beberapa makanan.

Untuk mencegah asam urat, diet rendah purin bisa menjadi pilihan. Sebenarnya mengonsumsi kadar purin yang normal tidak akan menjadi persoalan. Namun, para pengidap asam urat sebaiknya menghindari makanan yang mengandung purin dan memilih makanan rendah purin.

Makanan Purin adalah makanan yang cocok dikonsumsi pengidap penyakit asam urat. Ciri-ciri makanan rendah purin adalah mengandung kurang dari 100 miligram purin per 100 gram.

Berikut ini makanan rendah purin yang umumnya aman untuk pengidap asam urat:

1. Buah Ceri dan Lemon

Semua buah pada umumnya baik untuk asam urat. Namun, buah ceri dan lemon yang paling dianjurkan untuk dikonsumsi. Sebab, buah ceri dapat membantu mencegah serangan dengan menurunkan kadar asam urat dan mengurangi peradangan. Sementara itu, buah lemon memiliki kandungan vitamin C yang cukup tinggi.

2. Susu Rendah Lemak

Susu Rendah Lemak

Sama seperti buah, semua jenis susu memiliki kandungan rendah purin. Namun, susu rendah lemak lebih direkomendasikan.

3. Biji-Bijian

Biji-Bijian

Biji-bijian juga memiliki kandungan rendah purin. Kamu bisa mengonsumsi jenis biji-bijian utuh seperti oat, beras merah, dan barley. Kamu pun bisa mengolahnya terlebih dahulu misalnya dengan merebusnya.

4. Minyak Nabati

Minyak Nabati

Minyak nabati adalah makanan rendah purin selanjutnya. Berbanding terbalik dengan minyak hewani, minyak nabati sangat aman untuk dikonsumsi pengidap asam urat. Kamu bisa mengonsumsi minyak kanola, kelapa, zaitun, dan minyak rami.

5. Ikan

Ikan

Pengidap asam urat sangat tidak direkomendasikan untuk mengonsumsi daging merah, seperti ayam, sapi, atau kambing. Sebagai gantinya, kamu bisa mengonsumsi daging ikan seperti salmon dan tuna karena mengandung rendah purin dan kaya protein.
