Sosialisasi Instrumen LAM Teknik 2025 Mengacu pada Permendikbudristek No. 53 Tahun 2023

Medan, 30 April 2025 – Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri (LAM) Teknik menggelar acara Sosialisasi Instrumen LAM Teknik 2025 yang mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Permendikbudristek) No. 53 Tahun 2023, bekerja sama dengan Universitas Medan Area. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di Convention Hall Hj. Siti Mariani, Gedung Perpustakaan Lantai 3, Kampus 1 Universitas Medan Area, dan dihadiri oleh berbagai pihak penting dari dunia pendidikan di Sumatera Utara.

Sosialisasi ini diikuti oleh sejumlah peserta yang terdiri dari Rektor Universitas Medan Area, Dekan Fakultas Teknik, seluruh Kepala Program Studi Fakultas Teknik, dosen Fakultas Teknik, serta peserta dari kampus-kampus lain yang ada di lingkungan Sumatera Utara. Tujuan utama dari acara ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai instrumen akreditasi yang baru, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di bidang teknik.

Sambutan Rektor Universitas Medan Area

Pada pembukaan acara, Rektor Universitas Medan Area, Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan, M.Eng., M.Sc. menyampaikan sambutan hangat kepada seluruh peserta yang hadir. Beliau mengungkapkan pentingnya kegiatan sosialisasi ini sebagai langkah awal yang signifikan dalam menjawab tantangan dunia pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, terutama dalam hal peningkatan kualitas program studi teknik melalui akreditasi yang lebih terstruktur dan berbasis pada perkembangan terbaru. “Universitas Medan Area berkomitmen untuk mendukung penuh inisiatif ini, yang sejalan dengan upaya kami untuk meningkatkan kualitas akademik dan daya saing nasional di tingkat global,” ujar Prof. Dadan.

Penyampaian Materi oleh Para Pemateri

Acara dimulai dengan sesi pertama yang menghadirkan Prof. Ir. Meilana Dharma Putra, ST, M.Sc. Ph.D., IPM, yang menyampaikan materi mengenai Kebijakan dan Gambaran Umum terkait Instrumen LAM Teknik 2025. Dalam paparan ini, Prof. Meilana memberikan wawasan terkait peran kebijakan terbaru dalam membentuk standar kualitas pendidikan teknik di Indonesia.

Selanjutnya, Prof. Ir. Setia Abikusna, ST, MT, IPM, ASEAN Eng menyampaikan materi mengenai Laporan Kinerja Perguruan Tinggi, yang memaparkan cara menyusun laporan yang efektif dan sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan dalam akreditasi. Materi ini memberikan gambaran jelas tentang bagaimana perguruan tinggi diharapkan untuk melaporkan capaian kinerja mereka dalam berbagai aspek.

Prof. Ir. Leni Sophia Heliani, ST, M.Sc., D.Sc., IPU, dalam pemaparannya tentang Edusquad, membahas inovasi-inovasi terbaru dalam pendidikan tinggi yang dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas program studi teknik. Beliau menekankan pentingnya penggunaan teknologi dan platform berbasis digital untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran dan kolaborasi antar institusi.

Setelah sesi pagi, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan waktu istirahat (ISHOMA) yang memberikan kesempatan bagi para peserta untuk berinteraksi dan berdiskusi lebih lanjut.

Sesi Siang dan Tanya Jawab

Pada sesi siang, Prof. Ir. Meilana Dharma Putra kembali mengisi materi mengenai Laporan Evaluasi Diri. Dalam sesi ini, beliau menjelaskan tentang pentingnya evaluasi diri bagi perguruan tinggi dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas dan relevansi kurikulum yang diajarkan, serta untuk memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan oleh LAM Teknik.

Pemateri terakhir, Prof. Ir. Markus Hartono, ST, M.Sc., Ph.D., CHFP, IPU, ASEAN Eng, menyampaikan materi terkait pengembangan dan implementasi program-program di bidang teknik yang memenuhi standar nasional maupun internasional.

Setelah sesi materi selesai, kegiatan diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab, di mana peserta dapat mengajukan pertanyaan langsung kepada para pemateri mengenai topik-topik yang telah dibahas.
